The Unit Secretary course will focus on the ability to transcribe MD orders.  Students will be trained to read and identify various orders and to coordinate the various hospital departments to carry out the orders.  Customer service, coordination with purchasing department for supplies, and creating for the MDs a cohesive and efficient transition from assessing their patient to givng orders.
