Heartsaver First Aid
The American Heart Associations Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to relieve choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). It also teaches how to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and how to respond to them. Additionally, First Aid for workplace emergencies is covered in this course. *You must have the latest Heartsaver CPR & First Aid manual before, during, and after the class. Failure to present book will lead to the withholding of your Heartsaver CPR & First Aid card untill you show the book to an instructor. If you are purchasing a manual, we strongly suggest that you pick it up at the training center and review the material at least one week before class starts. A $10.00 material fee will be due on the day of the class.
