Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

The American Heart Association's ACLS course will sharpen skills involving the use of basic life support CPR as well as its combined effectiveness with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions. This LOW-STRESS course emphasizes the treatment of adult victims of cardiac arrest and other cardiopulmonary emergencies with effective communication in a team environment. The LOW-STRESS Mega Code portion of our course is a hands-on, simulated clinical scenarios where vital life saving skills are practiced first as an individual, then as part of a team, and finally as a team leader. *You must have the latest ACLS Manual before, during, and after the class.  Failure to present a book will lead to the withholding of your ACLS card until the book is shown to an instructor. If you are purchasing a manual, we strongly suggest that you pick it up at Doctor's Hospital and review the material at least one week before class starts.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.  Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association.  Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
